Safe and secure general-purpose motor control board that does not require soldering

ADRPTB8C

Product Summary

The general-purpose motor control board, which was announced at Maker Faire?
Developed for software engineers who are unfamiliar with hardware control, the general-purpose motor control board does not require soldering, and prevents damage to the Raspberry Pi itself due to mistakes in power and voltage that often occur when controlling motors with a Raspberry Pi. It is a control board that is easy for software engineers to check, such as how much control is possible by preventing it and "visualizing" the control signal.

Versatile and well-balanced input/output support as a general-purpose motor control board

Supports 6 input/output channels (both analog input and digital input/output), 5 V compatible analog input 2 channels, PWM output 8 channels, and motor output 2 channels.

*This product is not compatible with three-phase motors.

High extensibility that does not require soldering and can be used as a stack.

By using a 24-pole screwless terminal block, soldering is unnecessary while supporting a variety of inputs and outputs. Furthermore, it enables address selection for advanced users, and multiple stacks of this product can be used. (up to 4 stacks)

Protect your Raspberry Pi from careless mistakes in current and voltage!

Did you know that Raspberry Pi's GPIO actually has weak input protection!?
In some cases, careless mistakes in current and voltage can damage the Raspberry Pi. Even if you make such a mistake, this product will protect the Raspberry Pi with the input protection by the built-in analog IC! Even software engineers unfamiliar with hardware can safely and securely conduct experiments.

Visualization of control signals!

LEDs are installed so that you can check PWM and signals from each part of the motor. By "visualizing control signals", you can check the extent of control, including forward/reverse rotation, without actually connecting the motor. Is possible.

Product Specifications
[General purpose input/output] Digital input/output 6ch GPIO input/output range of Raspberry Pi: 0 to 3.3V
・Analog input 6ch, 12bit Input range: 0 to 3.3V? ・Analog input 2ch, 12bit Input range: 0 to 6.6V
* Digital input/output (GPIO) 6ch and analog input 6ch cannot be used at the same time.

・Analog input 6ch: MCP3208 12bit 8ch A/D converter SPI
Sampling rate: 50ksps Input range: 0-3.3V
・Analog input 2ch ・MCP3208 12bit 8ch A/D converter SPI
Sampling rate: 50ksps Input range: 0-6.6V
[PWM output] 8ch: PCA9685 12bitPWM, 16ch (6ch used for TB6612) I2C
* When controlling a servo motor with PWM output, simultaneous use with a DC motor will be more difficult in terms of software.
When using a servo motor and a DC motor at the same time, we recommend stacking them.
