The 8-bit non-inverting translator employs two independent configurable power rails. The A port follows the supply voltage of the VCCA pin, and the VCCA pin can supply a supply voltage between 1.2V and 3.6V. The B port follows the supply voltage of the VCCB pin, and the VCCB pin can be supplied with a supply voltage between 1.65V and 5.5V. Two input supply pins allow low voltage bi-directional translation between any voltage node of 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V.
All outputs are in a high impedance (Hi-Z) state when the output enable (OE) input is low.
OE must be tied to GND with a pull-down resistor to ensure a Hi-Z state during power-up or power-down. The minimum value for this resistor is determined by the current sourcing capability of the driver.
