Supervised by Tetsuya Gokan! Perfect for Raspberry Pi learning! You can learn how the input/output interface GPIO works!

Let's make a general-purpose test board for Chapter 3 of "Raspberry Pi Usage Guidebook to Enjoy with PIC"!

It is a general-purpose test board that allows you to perform basic input/output tests of the Raspberry Pi, such as checking input/output and serial communication, by connecting LEDs and switches to the GPIO interface, which is the external input/output pin of the Raspberry Pi.

It is a general-purpose board that can be easily handled, making it ideal for beginners learning the Raspberry Pi.

Equipped with a liquid crystal display (LCD)! (16 characters x 2 lines)

Equipped with a large LCD display with 16 characters x 2 lines. In addition to being able to A/D convert the voltage of the variable resistor and display the conversion result value on the liquid crystal display, it can also be used to check the serial communication function of the Raspberry Pi and the PIC microcomputer.

Full color LED lighting control! (with white diffusion cap)

In addition to checking the on/off control operation of full-color LEDs directly connected to GPIO, dimming control by PWM is also possible.

Input switch ON/OFF to Raspberry Pi

Equipped with 2 switch inputs, it is possible to check the GPIO input function with various Raspberry Pi applications.

Sending and receiving data to Raspberry Pi

As a transmission function, it is possible to transmit A / D conversion data of the voltage input of the variable resistor to the Raspberry Pi while the switch is pressed using GPIO as a serial pin. In addition to checking the serial communication function, it is possible to receive the hour, minute, and second data sent from the Raspberry Pi and display it on the built-in LCD.

please note

This product is a joint project with the book "Enjoying Raspberry Pi with PIC" published by Gijutsu Hyoronsha. For detailed explanations and usage, please purchase the "Raspberry Pi Usage Guidebook for Enjoying with PIC".
