This product is a genuine Sony release RM-VPR1 (USB-micro / multi-terminal connection)
This is a USB-C release remote control redesigned for the latest Sony cameras equipped with USB-C ports .

Sony's compact models released in recent years (α6700, α7CR, α7C II, ZV-E1) have eliminated the traditional USB-micro/multi-terminal, and remote shutter operation is now only possible via a Bluetooth remote control .

However, Bluetooth remote controls cannot be considered a complete replacement for wired releases due to issues such as shutter lag, connection instability, and reliability when shooting video or long exposures.

Currently, there are no wired release remote controls with USB-C connections on the market, either genuine or third-party.

To solve this problem, this product was developed as a USB-C connected release remote control that emphasizes the responsiveness and stability that only a wired connection can provide .
